The Off-Road Sub brand of Jetour Chery has released preview images of its new Zongheng G600, a luxury plug-in hybrid SUV. It was previously previewed as a concept and first seen at Auto Shanghai 2025, and now it’s stepping towards its production, whose price tag is approximately starting at $58,000 (400,000 yuan) to about $127,500 (1.5 million yuan).

From the teaser photos, the Zongheng G600 design elements include high-clearance wheel arches, a vertical front fascia featuring C-shaped LED lighting, and a roof-mounted language rack. Looking at the earlier prototypes, it showcased digital side mirrors and hidden door handles, which we are unsure will transition to the production model, but the digital side mirrors won’t miss out.

With rugged design cues, high ground clearance, advanced hybrid technology, and premium interior materials, the Jetour Zongheng G600 enters the full-size luxury off-road segment, being in direct competition with the GWM Tank 700 Hi4-T, which started at the price of $62,050, approximately 428,000 Yuan.

On power and performance, the G600 is based on the Global Architecture for Intelligent All-Terrain (GAIA) platform, which is shared within the Zongheng Series. It’s expected that the G600 will utilize the Kunpeng Super Performance Electric Hybrid (C-DM) system, meaning that the SUV may come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid while the transmission would be a 2-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), while the battery architecture will likely consist of an 800-volt silicon carbide platform that supports high-speed power output. These figures rely heavily on predictions.

The G600 is expected to come with the 800-volt 4C charging technology, and the brand targets a range recovery of 400 km in 6 minutes. The battery capacity is yet to be confirmed, but the G600 is expected to offer up to 1400 km (CLTC) combined range so that it can match its competitors.
The Zongheng G600 is within the Jetours Travel+ 3.0 strategy, and its production is set to take place at Chery’s dedicated off-road production plant.
